Recent school holiday we did not plan for any holiday or vacation. Thought of spending time at home or may be just do some outing to the mall. But my boy start buzzing that he wanted to go to somewhere.. wanted to swim in a pool.. that’s what he mentioned..

I don’t want to disappoint him.. so I made a last minutes short vacation. Make a last minute and quick browsing on the net for resort get away. Goggling for ‘promotions’.. and this resort caught my attention.

3 days 2 night at Impiana Resort Cherating for RM888.. School holiday package for 2 adults and 2 children.

After we came back.. come to think of it.. I think we shouldn’t take this package because most of the complimentary given are not been used.. because my 2nd child is just a baby or a toddler. We could just Google from Agoda.com for a room and might be much cheaper..

Any how.. it’s passed.. and lessons learned..

So.. drove to Cherating (I even forgot to check the distance of this location from our home.. simply make a booking.. ai yai yai..)

But hoping to have a great vacation so we don’t mind to travel. It’s fun to see all the beach stuff hanging all along the road.. really gave us the feel of holidaying..

Bought some for the kids too.

After 3 hours plus driving.. we finally reached our destination. I forgot to take photos around the resort but here are from Google.

When we reached.. Frankly speaking.. I am a little bit disappointed with the looks of the front resort.. it’s look kinda ageing.. I think I am disappointed because I am comparing the place with what we are paying.

Husband said can get better resort for such payment.. O.+

My huge shock.. we were welcome with a huge and high stairs!! I am thinking how on earth we gonna pull the stroller..We are already tired and now have to struggle carrying everything.. Sigh..

I am glad their staff came to help us.

It was hot that day.. and I cannot find any fan around the lobby..

OK.. I am having too much negative thoughts.. I tried to focus on the vacation and the happiness of our kids.. We got our key and heading to our room. I put my baby on the stroller.. and other bags were carried by the staff.

Even more surprising.. there is no path way for stroller. All are stairs.. This resort built with 3 or 4 stories and all are using stairs.. So parents with stroller.. this is what you have to think over before deciding a vacation here. Just a reminder.. when you are checking out.. no one is helping you to carry all your stuff to the lobby..

In our case.. Imagine.. we have to carry 2 suitcase and 2 big bags and a basket (Yeah.. I know.. a lot right? Some are new stuff we bought for the kids O.+).. and carrying a toddler.. We need to go down the stairs before reaching lobby. May be we should call for a bell boy to help us instead.. Never thought of that.. O.o

The only stairs I can slide my stroller.. that also have to think twice.. I carry my baby and asked my hubby push the stroller instead.. and no more after that..

By looking at the flooring.. you know how the resort situation is right? Not all part.. but MOST of the place..

We enter our room.. and at least something delighted me.. Big rooms. Kinda ageing but I can tolerate with that. Except my hubby.. still saying can have better place for such payment.. O.+

Aircond work properly and they have ceiling fan.. so it’s cooling inside.. The beach is just few meters away from us.. we can see it from our window. I like the green garden just before the beach.

They built the resort in a traditional way.. they wanted you to feels that way. I like their window and door covers.. you have to use the rope to pull the bamboo curtain up and down. Nice..

The small room on the left its a something like a small closet. where you can placed all your bags.. hang your clothes and others.

The bed room.. very big room.. we have free extra bed.. and I requested for a baby cot too. My little baby.. oh wait.. he is a toddler now..

Can sleep near the window too but.. Holy cow.. too many mosquitoes in here.. Will brag about that later.

The bath room.. Big.. and clean.. .. except for their towels.. Smells! Like Smelly shoes.. yakss! May be we just the unlucky one who got the smelly laundry.. may be others not.. I don’t know.. I am just giving my review.

Have to let my hubby take a nap for a while before we start our activities.. My boy cannot wait to jump into the pool.. so we make a move.

I wish I can join them.. but I don’t know where my swim suit are.. try to look for a not too sexy swim wear around the shop but cannot find.. so.. yeah..become photographer lorr..

My little boy is such a swimmer.. he can do the legs and the hands.. compare to his big brother last time.. so scared with water.. hiks..

The boys playing until skin turned like prune!! So times up.. time to go back to the hotel.. shower and going to have a free dinner which included in the package (1 night only tho’).. next day we have to pay..

Their only cafe.. where we have our breakfast and dinner.. We have Free breakfast included in the package for 2 days.

The food.. wasss allright.. Our 1st night.. they were having all the spicy food.. and none of the food can be eaten by kids..

As usual.. the hubby go make complaint.. ;-p.. How come no food suitable for kids? The staff try to offer Nasi bryani and daging to my little baby… my hubby so pissed.. O.o

Dessert? 3 star hotel standard..

At least on breakfast they have porridge, sausages.. pancakes for the kids… on the next night.. we were having BBQ buffet.. Hubby actually plan to eat outside the resort.. but I am feeling tired and I want to eat in the resort.. so we have to pay for the 2nd night dinner..

It’s fun to have the clown around during our dinner and also breakfast. He makes sculptured balloons for the kids and parents.. Nice!

This was the worst part I hate in this resort.. TOO MANY MOSQUITOES! They have the repellent.. but it doesn’t help. My kids was become the poor victims. Me and hubby did not have a good sleep that night because we have to take turn to take care of the kids from the mosquitoes..

Sometimes we fall asleep and when we woke up.. this is what happen. My little baby keep on crying at night and I know something is biting him. I did not put him in the baby cot. Things could become worst. So me, my big boy and my little boy sleeping on the big bed.

This picture was on 1st night.. and worst on 2nd night.. I just felt like going home at that very moment.. but thinking that the payment won’t be return.. me and hubby try to take turn to take care of the kids..

So.. we were like zombies.. not enough sleep and still have to entertain the kids.. really really not a memorable vacation for us..

We came back home and my little boy was attacked with high fever.. me and hubby continued not having a proper sleep to take care of him for several days.. at last brought my boy to see doc today.. and he was having a throat infection..

.. I am a little bit release to know that it wasn’t a Dengue. He is fine now.. Poor little boy loose 1 kg during the sickness.
