My son left a ‘beautiful’ mural on his room before we went back to my hometown (KK Sabah) last year. We were so busy until I have no time to ‘reward’ him for that.. I told him we keep until we come back.. But when New year arrived.. we were busy with the CNY and next to our long holiday to New Zealand..
When we came back.. all the anger has gone and I only managed to remind him not to draw on the wall anymore.. and a week after that I found out he draw another mural on the other room.
We were using the easy wipe Nippon paint for our house.. but trust me.. to wipe pencil or pen are so hard! Pen?? May be not at all.. I tried with brush and soap.. it didn’t goes off..
Before I go with my final decision.. to re-paint.. I went to COSWAY to look for 1 type of soap which my friend introduced me long… long.. long time ago. I cannot remember the name. Even the sales lady said that product no longer available.. and she introduced me a box of soap that might be it but already changed the packaging.
Besides that.. she introduced me something else too..
I said ok.. I take 1.. but she said it’s promotion buy 2 free 1.. I was thinking why do I need that much? She said this sponge is special, it will turn smaller and smaller when using it. So I took her advice.
I dip a small part of the sponge into water and start to scrub.. and I was so surprised the result was actually fast than using brush or cloth with soap (My ol-method :p )
So.. NEXT.. another mural.. the ultimate painting.. *Pull hair*.. He was using PEN!!!! This one he got his ‘reward’.. Because I already told him not to do it but he didn’t listen.. so to make a statement.. I have no choice but giving him a ‘reward’..
The moment I did the scrubbing.. he was with me.. and he suddenly hugs me and say sorry to me.. He felt so sorry to see me sweating while scrubbing.. My heart melt.. *sigh*
Anyway.. after doing the scrubbing thing for almost 1 hour (Ya for both painting).. I did it!!.. and satisfied. To scrub the pen lines on the wall are the most tedious thing.. I have to slowly rub in secular motion.. bit by bit..
This sponge gonna be my bestfren for a while.. hihi..
Note: It works on cements but I am not sure it works on painted wood. I tried it at some painted wood in my house.. but the pencil’s line did not come out.. *sigh*
